It includes the 12-month/12,000-mile comprehensive warranty in addition to the 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Silver Certified covers model years 2014–2018 with under 125,000 miles and includes the powertrain warranty without the comprehensive warranty.
Yes. The 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty is transferable to subsequent private-party owners for a small transfer fee. This can be a meaningful selling point when you resell the vehicle.
Yes. You are free to arrange outside financing. However, the special low APR rates are exclusively available through Toyota Financial Services and are only accessible when purchasing a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle.

The inspection is divided into categories including the engine and drivetrain, transmission, brakes, steering and suspension, heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, safety systems, interior components, glass and body panels, and tires and wheels. Any item that fails the standard must be repaired or replaced before the vehicle qualifies for certification.
